We stayed 7 days in Valencia and had dinner six times at Sabor del Mare. The food was always fresh and delicious, the staff were very kind, friendly, and attentive, and the overall experience was excellent. It is one of the best seafood restaurants we've been to. Good prices and generous portions.
Amazing food and super nice service. We ordered a fish of the day and it was delicious. If you're looking for a restaurant with a variety of seafood and freshly grilled fish, this if the place!
The octopus with potato sauce was spectacular. It was the most tender one I’d ever tasted, and I liked the fact that it wasn’t swimming in too much oil. The sauce was creamy but light in texture, and it complimented the octopus very well! Croquettes (cod and ham) were also delicious. Some of us prefer meat, and they also enjoyed their steaks so much. Another friend loved his fresh red tuna. We throughly enjoyed our (late) lunch, but a downside was that the service was a bit slow at the beginning. I also felt rushed to order by a waiter when I kindly asked for recommendations. Plus, when I went in around 14:30 to secure a table, I was told that they had already run out of rice. A small disappointment that we couldn’t get a paella, and I think they should’ve expected more in the first place as it was the last day of Mascletà. When we were about to leave, we saw some tables getting paellas, and I felt we received an unfair treatment. They might’ve booked it in advance? That was questionable. But in the end, other seafood dishes were amazing, and last but not least, the bar lady was really kind when I entered :) So, all in all I would say 4 stars.
Food was fantastic. Atmosphere was a bit dead on Sunday evening. Service was fine but food was coming out too slow and we were the only guests. Overall recommend the place.
Coupes date, specification seafood. Fantastic selection of seafood and we took the waiters recommendation which was fantastic and very helpful. Highly recommended especially the grilled squid. White wine also very good.
Just happened upon this place in our walk today. It was a pleasant surprise. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. The food was amazing. The Russian salad was the best we have had in Spain. The paella was amazing, and the service was top notch.
